THE ACIVITY REPORT OF RECOVER THE CHILD MINISTRY (RCM)

Calvary greetings from Uganda in the beloved name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Hope all is going in this summer season. On behalf of Recover the Child ministry of Grace Hill Baptist Church Kapchorwa, I write to thank you very much for the support and the sacrifice of 420 US Dollars. Which the Easter celebration of children successful, we give glory to God.
The entire church and her leadership received the support with joy and thanks giving and they are hereby send a word of thank you to the church for the support and may the Lord richly bless you.
Below is the report for the Easter children function;

Mobilization of the children:
The children were mobilized on Friday to come to church for the practice and preparation for the Easter day on Saturday.
Easter Saturday
The children arrived at 9:00am, they were assembled in the church in one group. They had the pastors talk to them and all the children workers.
The reading of the word of God which was got from the book of Matthew 19:13-15 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me for the kingdom of God belongs to them”.
We had children praising and worshiping God. After the children praise and worship the children were divided into age groups for Children Bible stories. The age groups were ages 3, 4, and 5 in one class; 6, 7, and 8 in one class; 10 and above in one class.
Lunch
After the children watched the film, they went for Lunch, served by the women and the children workers. They were served Rice and beans.
Sending off the Children
Watching of Jesus Film
After the bible class the children had to watch Jesus film in their native language.
The children were asked questions concerning what they watched in the film, they were answering the questions correctly. It was encouraging to the teachers and the pastors.
Gift Distribution
They received the gifts of sugar, soap and tea leaves distributed to them by the children workers.
The closing prayer was conducted 4:00pm and the children were dispersed to go home and prepare for Sunday service and another center day.
