AWANA groups participate in Game Time to learn teamwork, sportsmanship and other character traits; Handbook time for memorizing and understanding Bible verses that teach children how to know and follow God; Council Time for singing, announcements, awards presentations and a practical Bible message. AWANA Clubbers also participate in various events through the AWANA year that include the Grand Prix, similar to the Pinewood Derby, where participants build a car and race them on the track on race day. (See pictures here), AWANA Games, Sparks-A-Rama, Christmas Caroling in December, and other special events.
